1 John 4:10,11 "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."
Since God loved us first, then it's up to us to love Him. What better way to love God than to receive the love of His Son, Jesus, whom He sent for our sins. If God has had compassion for us, shouldn't we have compassion for others? It is a true blessing to model after our Maker.
I encourage you today to love others as God has loved us. We can do this as we become more like Christ everyday. As we love others, they will in-turn learn how to love as well!
