Ezekiel 36:26: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."
Through the regenerating and empowering work and presence of the Holy Spirit in our inner spirit as individuals, God will restore us spiritually and physically by giving us a new heart and a new spirit to desire to follow Him. He will replace love for hatred and a warm heart for a cold one.
Let's be encouraged today by remembering that we are new creatures when we receive Christ into our hearts. Therefore, Jesus comes to live in our hearts and make them new, full of love and compassion as never before.
