1 Peter 3:10-12 "For He who would love life and see good days, let
him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him
turn away from evil and do good; For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against
those who do evil."
"The face of the Lord is against those who do evil," is in direct
contrast to God's all-knowing, all-loving, and all-caring interest in His
children who serve and love Him. We, as believers, have found favor in His
eyes.
When you pay a large price for something you usually want to take good care
of it.God has invested a priceless amount into our lives through His Son, Jesus
Christ. He will watch over us.
Let's be encouraged today to refrain from speaking evil and deceit. To turn
from those habits by keeping our eyes on Him!
