RESIST EVIL!

James 4:6-8  "But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." 

 

If we refrain from being double-minded, by keeping our focus on God, we will remain humble and receive blessings from Him. When the devil sees that we are committed to the Lord, he knows that he's lost his battle for us, and goes away. 

 

Let's be encouraged today to resist evil and draw near to God by approaching Him, in Jesus' name. He will draw close to us as well. God gives grace to the humble, so let's humble ourselves before Him!
