Luke 18:35-38 "Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho,
that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude
passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was
passing by. And he cried out, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!'
"
Have you ever missed a great opportunity? The blind man in this section of
Scripture was not about to miss this one. Without hesitating, he cried out to
the Lord as He was passing by. Today, we continually have access to God's
listening ears. The Lord hears our cries and speedily answers us.
Let's be encouraged today to call upon His name while He is near to
us--not letting opportunity pass us by!
