Mark 12:29,30 "Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, Oh Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength."
One of the scribes approached Jesus and asked Him which is the first commandment of all? Jesus answered with the Scripture above, with clarity and truth. God comes first. If we love God above all things, then we will love our brothers, sisters, neighbors, and even our enemies. We will in-turn be obeying all of the commandments.
Let's encourage one another today that we are God's children, and as we put Him first in our lives above all things, He is able to bless us beyond our imaginings!
