Hebrews 9:27, 28 "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but
after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To
those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for
salvation."
There were repeated sacrifices of the Levitical system in order to have
forgiveness of sins and to keep people in right standing with God. But now we
have forgiveness through one death, and that of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He
firstly came to die for our sins and will come again to complete our salvation
in our reunion with Him.
Let's be encouraged together as we eagerly await His return. Oh what a
glorious day that will be!
