2 Thessalonians 2:16,17 "Now, may the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself,
and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation
and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word
and work."
God and Jesus, His son, being one, will not only comfort our hearts but
establish us.The last part of this Scripture above reminds me of another
Scripture that suggests we be slow to speak. Sometimes our words come out a
little more quickly than we'd like, even before we've had a chance to think them
out. Thankfully, with God's guidance, we will have a good word for all.
I encourage you today, that not only your words will be established by God,
but that your works will be as well. How comforting to know that as we yield to
trust God, that He will bless us in these two profound ways!
