Luke 3:16 "John answered, saying to all, "I indeed baptize you
with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not
worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and
fire."
Isn't it wonderful how the Lord always prepares us for things to
come? This preparation is foretelling of His greatness and power. Being baptized
with the Holy Spirit is the most exciting thing in a Christian's life. To have
power in the name of Jesus is the way to show His mighty works.
Let's be encouraged today to use this gift the Lord has given us in His
name and reach out to those hurting, and comfort them with His glory!
