2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of
power and of love and of a sound mind."
The answer is clear that we did not get fear from God. He gave us power to
overcome fear, love to melt it away, and a sound mind to discern and
rebuke it. God will show us self-control to exercise and use at the appropriate
times. If we receive all that God gives to us in the Spirit, then we can fight
off all fear as it approaches us.
Be encouraged today to know that fear is not a person or thing, but is like
a negative spirit that attacks our minds. So, let's hang on to this promise and
