Jeremiah 18:5,6 "Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying; 'Oh
house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?' says the Lord. 'Look, as
the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, Oh house of Israel!'
"
The potter's remolding of the clay into an acceptable and unblemished work
symbolized God's action in reforming Israel. This way Israel would be suitable
for God's intended purposes.
At times we feel that we need some direction and guidance from the Lord. As
we allow Him to work in us, to mold us into what He'd like for us to be for His
glory, our image changes to become more like His. Let's be encouraged today to
desire to be reformed into vessels that will glorify the Lord!
