Hebrews 6:19-20 "This hope we have as an anchor of the
soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the
veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having
become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."
Jesus died so that we can enter into the Holy of Holies behind the veil
where God dwells. He entered first for us, and now we have access through His
name. Jesus is our High Priest forever.
The forerunner, in that day, was the small boat that went into the
harbor before the larger boats to secure the anchor for them. Jesus, our
forerunner is the smaller boat (one man) that went before the larger
boats (the nations).
Let's encourage one another with this. Jesus did the preparation and work
for us. Our future and hope in Christ is secured!
