Luke 10:27 "So he answered and said, "You shall love the Lord your
God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with
all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
When you receive instructions from a steward on a flight, it is to grab the
oxygen mask and put it on yourself, and then attend to your child. If we,
as adults, were to run out of air, how would we then help a younger person? The
same goes for us now as mature believers. If we don't love God with all that we
are, putting Him first above all things, how can we possibly love our
neighbor?
Let's be encouraged today by the Lord, who gives us wonderful
instructions. He will enable us to help and love others as we love Him first!
